Instructor

I received RYT 200 Yoga certification in 2015 at Hot House Yoga in Iowa City, and have been teaching ever since!

My classes focus on power moves and a fun playlist.

When I'm not on the mat I love to train for running events ( 2023 Relay Iowa and Pikes Peak Ascent!), attend Iowa State Football games and hang out with my husband, 15 year old son, and 20 lb cat !!

Monica Neuendorf

Instructor

I was drawn to yoga out of my love for dance. Once I attended my first yoga class, I was hooked! It gives me the time I need to stop and breathe. I knew I wanted to share my passion with others, so I received my certification. I want to help others find their center and truly feel better inside and out. My goal is to assist every yogi to feel grounded and balanced. I am currently working on my next level of yoga certification as well as my Ayurveda Nutrition Certification. I am all about essential oils and crystals, so don’t be surprised if you see them when you pop in to practice with me!!

When I am not teaching yoga, I love attending my son Carters wrestling meets in college and hanging out with the hubby…..oh and of course shopping

So excited to meet you on the mat!! Namaste

Cori

Instructor

I have been practicing yoga since 2015 and have been teaching since 2021 after receiving my 200 hour certification.

I discovered yoga later in life, but fell in love with it about 3 classes in and knew at some point I become an instructor so I could share the joy of practicing yoga with others.

For me, yoga has been therapeutic - I know that when I’m stressed, upset, or anxious, I can come to the mat and find myself again, even amidst the chaos that life tends to throw our way.

While I love to practice all types of yoga, my favorite classes to teach are those that get your heart pumping through movement and/or powerful asana holds - all while jamming to some amazing music.

I hope to see you join me on the mat!

Noel

Instructor

Hi, my name is Noel.

I look forward to connecting on the mat, and creating a safe space of wellness together.

See you in class!

Amy

Instructor

After 15 years of classical ballet training, I discovered yoga at the local gym where I felt at home connecting movement with breath. While this was a familiar sensation for me, what drew me back to the mat was the sense of clarity, calm, and peace.

As a practitioner I enjoy a variety of yoga styles such as power, vinyasa, yin, and restorative. My absolute favorite part of class is when I am able to find that sweet spot of an open, clear mind and a peaceful, restful heart. And after class I love how I feel, whether it’s a good sweat, feeling a little taller or stronger, or simply the sense of feeling less anxious. My 200 YTT trainor Lourdes Sanchez from Om Yoga and Wellness Studios always encouraged me to
Let It Go, a phrase you will hear throughout my classes. My 300 YTT studies with My Vinyasa Practice encouraged me to be mindful of how the body is responding to each of the poses and remembering we are practicing for ourselves.

I am honored to offer the practice of yoga at Wave of Life and the greater Cedar Valley community. Come, join me on

Betsy

Instructor

I have been a fitness lover forever. My love for movement started while playing sports in high school and college and after that ended, I wanted to try anything and everything in the fitness world, so I did! From yoga, cycling, long distance running, HIIT, kickboxing, bootcamps, cardio dance, I enjoy it all! Most recently my focus has been on strength training, as I have learned how vital it is for our health as we age.

I recently became certified in a strength training program called, UpLift. It is a full body, strength training program that builds muscles and confidence while being effective and fun. Each routine is choreographed to iconic music. It’s friendly to all stages of fitness as we can offer many modifications if needed.

Outside of fitness, I work in health care administration and enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children. We are a very active family and spend a lot of time at ball games or outdoors, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

I hope to see you at class!
